Last weekend Dave and I really needed to get out of the house and go do something. We decided to go see Hoover Dam since it is only like 15-20 minutes from our house. It was really amazing. To see it all and think of all the people that built it and it was in the 30's....it is crazy to think how they did it without all the modernized equipment we have now-a-days. There is also a brand new bridge being built as a bypass to the dam, so trucks and stuff can drive through and also because the canyon to get to the dam is so windy. The bridge was also amazing...but terrifying to me too. It is SO big and SO high! On the way back home we decided to stop in Boulder City because we had heard a few things about it. It is such a cute little town. And it is the only city in Nevada where gambling is illegal...no casinos. It was a very small town but they had lots of cute little shops and a cute little main street. We really had a great time.

Pete and I went to Las Vegas on our honeymoon and went to Hoover Dam. It was really cool, and it looks like the bridge is close to being done, but when we were there it had just started!!
This is a place that I have always wanted to see. Maybe when we visit you. I hope I will get to visit. Especially after that baby comes.
