Cousins

While Kristin and Jared were visiting for Ruby’s birthday, we had a game night one night and put a movie on for these two munchkins along with treats.  London sat right up next to Lukey and kept scooting closer.  I think she did it to get a rise out of him, but he was to into the movie.

Playdough

This is London playing with some edible playdough I made for her.  She had a lot of fun with it, but I think she liked eating it more than playing with it….funny girl!

Robbins’ birthday celebrations

On conference weekend we were able to celebrate our niece Madi’s first birthday with family.  My sister-in-law Sarah made everything look so cute.  She did a ladybug themed birthday party and everything was so creative.  I was able to make Madi’s outfit, and I must say, she looked adorable.  Glad we could celebrate with little Madi!

The following weekend was Dave’s dad Steve’s birthday!  Most of the family was going to be going out to dinner to celebrate, but Dave and I were not going to be able to make it, so we took him and Sheila to breakfast.  Happy Birthday Steve, it was fun to go to breakfast with you!

More Random Lou

DMV

When we moved back from Vegas, Dave and I both had Nevada licenses.  I was able to renew my Utah one because it hadn’t expired yet, but Dave found out he would have to take the written test again because his had expired.  He put it off for quite awhile, cause his NV one was still current.  We finally went over the other weekend, and we had some fun with pictures during the 2 hours we were there.  And by the way, Dave passed his test.

Bathtime painting

Like I mentioned in the painting pumpkins post, London has been into painting.  I bought her some crayons for the bath tub the other day and she has been in heaven.  I have actually found her sneaking in the tub just during the day to “paint”. 

Happy Birthday Ruby

Kristin, Jared, and Luke came up to Utah to celebrate Ruby’s first birthday.  The night they drove up was Ruby’s actual birthday, and they stopped at our house to have dinner.  Kristin bought some red velvet cupcakes that we put some candles on and let Luke and London blow out to celebrate her birthday.

That weekend, Kristin and Jared had put together a birthday celebration for Ruby at her grave sight.  We let off red balloons to Ruby with birthday messages.  Kristin also made lots of yummy birthday treats, and also had some beautiful sugar cookies made to celebrate Ruby.  I hope Ruby got our messages, and I know she was celebrating in heaven and smiling down on her mommy, daddy, and brother!
